Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that Rajnish Dev Burman (IRS IT:1999) may be appointed as Private Secretary to Sarbanand Sonowal, CM Assam.
Burman was appointed as PS to Sarbanand Sonowal when the latter became the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) in the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports on 22 August 2014.
In addition to Principal Secretary (PS), there has been a convention of Private Secretary (PS) to CM as well for which Burman's name seems to have been finalised.
