Chief Ministers who have been bunking the Niti Ayog meetings are beginning to feel the heat. PM Narendra Modi has directed the Ayog that absentee CMs' representatives should not be allowed to attend the meeting. Hence, in the meeting convened currently, representatives of Mamta Bannerjee and Arvind Kejriwal were not allowed to attend the meeting as they are said to have made it 'habit' to abstain from Ayog's meetings convened from time to time.
May it be noted that except Mamta and Kejriwal, all CMs attended the current meeting.
