BJP's Southern voyage: New BJUM chief Surya, Mahajan or Sanghavi ?

By IndianMandarins- 29 May 2020

The BJP has started working for its new organizational setup. Three important names are doing rounds for the chief of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha that includes Bangalore South MP Tejasvi Surya, Poonam Mahajan Mumbai North Central MP and daughter of late Pramod Mahajan maybe repeated and Surat (Majura) MLA Harsh Sanghavi.

National organising secretary B L Santosh wants Surya to be given the responsibility, a section in the party wants Poonam to continue while she is reluctant to continue and reportedly told the organisation. Another section is backing Sanghvi. Tejaswi is a firebrand leader, articulate, young and roots in the south as his advantage that the BJP is more and more focusing on.

An aggressive leader like him suits the BJP for its southern voyage as he will be able to make a dent among youths. So he has a better chance if any darkhorse does not emerge in the meantime.
