New Delhi (05.07.2023): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Wednesday are as follows:

• Rajesh Agrawal (IAS: 1994: MN), Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, was entrusted with additional charge of the post of Chairman, Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) for a period of three months.
• Tenure of Kapil Chaudhary (IOFS:  2002), Director in the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation, was extended for a period of two years i.e up to 31.07.2025. He counts his central deputation tenure w.e.f 01.08.2018.
• Tenure of Vivek Kumar (a private person), Officer on Special Duty to the Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman in the Department of Expenditure, was curtailed w.e.f.  17.07.2023.
  
• Dr  V Narayanan, Director, Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) was promoted from the grade of ‘Distinguished Scientist’ under the Merit Promotion Scheme (MPS).
• Ajai Das Mehrotra was appointed as Technical Members in National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT).
• Arun Baroka was appointed as Technical Members in National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT).
• Babulal Gurjar, Regional Controller of Mines for promotion to the grade of Controller of Mines, was empanelled for the panel year 2023.
• Dr Mohana Krishna Reddy Mudiam, Senior Principal Scientist, CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, was appointed to the post of Director, Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT), Gurugram.
