Even though the Appointment Committee of Cabinet had cleared many appointments to the key posts (IRCON) in the second week of March it is yet to ratify the appointment of S K Chaudhary, as new CMD of IRCON. The outgoing CMD Mohan Tiwari is scheduled to superannuate on 30 September 2016.
Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that ACC is all set to clear the appointment of S K Chaudhary this week. He was selected for CMD post on 29 February 2016. Chaudhary currently serves as Director (Projects) NBCC.
It may be recalled that in the month of March 2016 the ACC had cleared the appointments of M K Singh (IRAS) as Director (Finance) and ratified the extension of service of Hitesh Khanna (Director- Project) for a period ending 06 March 2018.
In addition, the ACC, on 30 March 2016, had cleared the appointment of three Non Official Independent Directors on the board of IRCOn namely; Sanjay Kumar, Singh Avinessh Matta and Prof Vasudha Kamat.
