Usually, Secretaries and Ministers are housed between 2nd & 3rd floor in a ministry building except for few ministries like Corporate Affairs, Law & Justice and Ministry of Tribal Affairs, but MoS for Health & Family Welfare Anupriya Patel is getting her lavish office built on the 06th floor of Nirman Bhawan.
In this building, Union Cabinet Minister (MoHFW) J P Nadda's office is located on the third floor, Secretary sits on 1st Floor, MoS (MoHFW) Phaggan Singh Kulaste sits on the second floor and DG health Services sits on the 5th floor - all located at the same position but on different floors.
Anupriya could have chosen 04th floor but she chose the sixth floor for office especially because as per Vaastu she wanted her office to be located above the fourth floor. To accommodate her, a complete section (comprising Dy Secretary, Section officers, and few more staffers) has been transferred.
