As Indianmandarins has reported on January 07, 2016 (weblink below) Dr Anil Kumar (IFS:1980:MT) appointed as Additional Director General (Forest Conservation), MoEF&CC. He took over the charge on Friday last week. Dr Anil Kumar held the additional charge of ADG (FC) after Dr Sharad Singh Negi's appointment as DG Forest. There were strong whispers in power corridors that Ms Rekha Pai (UD:1983:IFS), Inspector General of Forests, was also in the chase and had fair chances too for ADG (FC).
