Amarawati (08.04.2023): The Andhra Pradesh government has
enacted a major reshuffle of IPS officers with over two dozen getting new
assignments. These officers are:
- G V G Ashok Kumar (IPS: 2006: AP) has been appointed as
Deputy Inspector General of Police, Eluru Range.
- G Pala Raju (IPS: 2005: AP) has been appointed as IG, Guntur
Range and IG, DISHA.
- R N Ammi Reddy (IPS: 2009: AP) has been appointed as DIG,
Ananthapuramu Range.
- M Ravi Prakash (IPS: 2006: AP) has been appointed as DIG,
SEB.
- B Raja Kumari (IPS: 2007: AP) has been appointed as DIG, APSP.
- Sarvashresta Tripathi (IPS: 2006: AP) has been appointed as
DIG (Admin) in the office of DGP.
- Koya Praveen (IPS: 2009: AP) has been appointed as DIG,
Greyhounds.
- Shankhya Brata Bagchi (IPS: 1996: AP) has been appointed as
Additional Director General of Police (L&O) in the office of DGP.
- Ravi Shankar Ayyanar (IPS: 1994: AP) has been appointed as Additional
Director General (V&E) and EO Principal Secretary to Government, General
Administration (V&E) department.
- Atul Singh (IPS: 1995: AP) has been appointed as Chairman,
SLPRB with full additional charge of ADGP, APSP.
- Manish Kumar Sinha (IPS: 2000: AP) has been asked to report before
the government after completion of the leave for further posting.
- Ch Srikant (IPS: 2002: AP) has been appointed as IG, CID.
- P Venkatarami Reddy (IPS: 2006: AP), IGP, Training, has been
given full additional charge of MD, AP Police Housing Corporation and ADGP (P&L)
in the office of DGP.
- C M Thrivikram Varma (IPS: 2005: AP) has been appointed as Commissioner
of Police, Visakhapatnam City.
- Vikrant Patil (IPS: 2012: AP) has been appointed as SP,
Parvathipuram Manyam.
- Vasan Vidya Sagar Naidu (IPS: 2016: AP) has been appointed
as DCP (L&O), Visakhapatnam.
- Garud Sumit Sunil (IPS: 2015: AP) has been appointed as SP,
SIB.
- Tuhin Sinha (IPS: 2017: AP) has been appointed as SP Alluri
Sitha Rama Raju District.
- S Satish Kumar (IPS: 2016: AP) has been appointed as SP,
Kakinada.
- Gowthami Sali (IPS: 2015: AP) has been appointed as Commandant
16th Battalions, ASPS, Visakhapatnam.
- Ch Sudheer Kumar Reddy (IPS: 2010: AP) has been appointed as
SP, East Godavari District.
- Rahul Dev Sharma (IPS: 2010: AP) has been appointed as Commandant
5th Battalion, APSP, Vizianagaram.

Commandant 3rd Battalions, APSP, Kakinada.
- Fakkeerappa Kaginelli (IPS: 2011: AP) has been appointed as
SP, CID.

Jaggaiahpeta in the office of Commissioner of Police, Vijayawada.

14th APSP, Ananthapuramu.
- Bindhu Madhav Garikapati (IPS: 2017: AP) has been appointed
as SP, Greyhounds.
