took over as new Chief Secretary of the Assam following the retirement of Ms T
Y Das (IAS:1982:AM). Previously he served as Additional Chief
Secretary, Homes, PWD and Environment & Forests. NaMo administration had, in May 2017, empanelled him to hold Secretary equivalent level post in Govt of India.
