Bhopal (10.01.2023): The three-day-long fifth edition of the Bhopal Literature and Art Festival, started by IAS officer Raghav Chandra, will be inaugurated on January 13, 2023. Chandra has lined up 95 thinkers/authors for 50 sessions across 3 days of what he calls 'Knowledge Kumbh' held at Bharat Bhawan, near Bhopal Lake.
Some of the prominent speakers included Union Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav, Ex-VC Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia, ex-VC NITI Ayog Rajiv Kumar, Chairman of the PM’s Economic Advisory Council Bibek Debroy, ex-CAG Vinod Rai, ex- Ambassadors Sharat Sabharwal, YK Sinha, JN Misra, defence strategists like Manoj Joshi, Gen Raj Shukla, celebrities like Kabir Bedi, Onir, Anita Bhogle and many more.
The Sushila Devi Award for the best fiction by a woman author with a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh will be given to Anuradha Roy for the Earth Spinner. There is also an exhibition of works of Bhalu Mondhe, a Padma Shri recipient artist.”
