1997 batch officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service, Mukul Kumar, has
penned his second fiction Seduction By Truth. The novel's plot is set in marriage
in urban India and focuses on adultery. The novel highlights the clash between
individuality and tradition in the background of mythology and philosophy. It
tells the story of three women of three different religions. Kumara's
first book was Irrepressible Echoes, an anthology of his poems. It was
published in 2012. After the success of his first book, in 2014, he was
inspired to complete the first draft of his first fiction As Boys Become Men.
It was published in 2016.
