New Delhi (27.05.2021): The Union Cabinet has cleared and approved an MHA proposal for creating a post of Director in Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) at the National Disaster Response Force Academy (NDRFA), Nagpur. The appointment of the NDRF director is expected to help improve the command and control system of the organization and put in place a better coordination system. The Academy imparts skill-based practical training to over 5,000 personnel annually, from NDRF, SDRF, CD volunteers, other stakeholders, and disaster response agencies of SAARC and other countries. It also caters to analyzing and improving the training programs as per changing needs and requirements of the stakeholders.
