Ashok Kumar Angurana (IAS:1980:JK) has been given additional charge of Secretary, Dept of Consumer Affairs for a period of three months. Presently, he has been working as Secretary, Dept of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries since 28 February 2015. Prior to this stint, he was Secretary to Ministry of Panchayati Raj.
The incumbent Secy, Dept of Consumer Affairs, K N Desiraju (IAS:1978:UK) to retire on May 31, 2015.
