Ranchi (31.12.2025): The Jharkhand government has appointed Tadasha Mishra (IPS: 1994: JH), who was serving as the acting DGP of the state, as the full-time Director General of Police (DGP) on December 30, 2025. She was set to retire on 31.12.2025. Tadasha Mishra was appointed acting Director General of Police (DGP) of Jharkhand on 07.11.2025 following the resignation of Anurag Gupta (IPS: 1990: JH). The Home Department issued a notification stating that Mishra has been appointed as Director General and Inspector General of Police (HoAF). The appointment has been made in accordance with the amended Jharkhand Police Chief Selection and Appointment Rules, 2025, recently notified by the state government.ALSO READ
