New Delhi (22.12.2025): Taking the help of vote cutters to ascend to power is a time-tested strategy of the BJP and this seems to be at play for the 2026 Assembly elections of West Bengal with suspended Muslim TMC leader launching his own party anytime soon. He claimed that he would be fielding as many as 140 seats in the elections. His candidates would harm the TMC in a similar way as AIMIM harmed the RJD and the Congress in Bihar. The way support is pouring in for the Muslim leader, it is certainly a matter of concern for TMC in the state.
