New Delhi (22.10.2024): A 1992 batch IAS officer is tipped to become Goa Chief Secretary. The post fell vacant following the appointment of Puneet Kumar Goel (IAS: 1991: AGMUT) as Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes on October 19, 2024. Goel was appointed as Goa CS on February 1, 2022. He was transferred to Goa in July 2019 and was posted as Principal Secretary before being appointed as CS.
