The NaMo Administration on September 05 opened the flood gates by clearing the appointment of 78 Non-Official Independent Directors on the Boards of 39 Central PSUs at one go. For these 78 appointments the average comes out to 02 Non-Official Ind Directors for all 39 PSUs. 15 CPSEs under the administrative control of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas get the maximum number of 28 Directors whereas PSUs under Ministry of Defence and Railways get altogether 24 Directors.
