New Delhi (22.04.2022): Prime Minister Narendra Modi conferred the Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on the occasion of Civil Services Day 2022. Civil Services Day is celebrated annually on April 21 to recognize the contribution of civil servants to society. The awards were conferred to the TEAM of the respective departments/ministries that made it a success collectively. Awards and recipients included;

INNOVATION CENTRE:

• Sanjay Jaju (IAS:1992:AP), Additional Secretary (DP), Department of Defence Production has been awarded for iDex, which is an ecosystem to foster innovation & technology development in Defence and Aerospace by engaging innovators & entrepreneurs to deliver technologically advanced solutions for modernizing the Indian Military. It is part of the Department of Defence Production.
• Hukum Singh Meena (IAS:992:BH), Additional Secretary, Department of Land Resources received the award of the National Generic Document Registration Centre for the Department of Land Resources.

INNOVATION STATE:

Ravinder Kumar (IAS:2012:UT), Administrative Secretary, Agriculture Department, Ladakh gets recognised for Building of Efficient Greenhouse to Grow Crops, Agriculture Department, Ladakh.

Dr Vinod Ramchandra Rao (IAS:2000:GJ), Secretary, Education (Primary and Secretary), Ahmedabad, Government of Gujarat has been conferred the award for Initiative Data-Driven Real-Time Monitoring of Command and Control Centre for Schools for Education Department (Primary and Secondary), Gujarat.

• Kundan Kumar (IAS:2012:BH), DC, West Champaran District has been awarded for Navpravartan Start-Up Zone Chanpatia, West Champaran, Bihar
• Dr M S Lakshmi Priya (IAS:2014:AM), District Collector, Bongaigaon (Assam) has been awarded for Sampoorna, Bongaigaon.
• Rahul Raj PS (IAS:2015:TG), Collector, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad (Telangana) has been awarded for Promoting Jan Bhagidari or Peoples’ Participation in Poshan Abhiyan, Kumaran Bheem Asifabad, Telangana.

• Kushal Raj Sharma (IAS:2006:UP), DC, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh has been awarded for Digital Payment and Good Governance in PM SVANidhi Yojana, Varanasi Municipal Corporation, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
• Dr Piyush Singla (IAS:2012:JK), DC, Anantnag (J&K) has been awarded for Digital Payment and Good Governance in PM SVA Nidhi Yojana, Municipal Council Anantnag, Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir.
