03 DIGs elevated as Jt Dir, Rao appointed as Jt Dir, CBI

Finally, the much awaited time arrived, on March 06, for as many as three IPS officers serving in CBI as DIG. The officers keenly waited for their turn to get IG rank posting whereas their batch-mates, at centre, had got their due months back. Accordingly; Vineet Vinayak (IPS:1995:SK), A Y V Krishna (IPS:1995:AM), Sai Manohar (IPS:1995:MP) are elevated to Jt Director , CBI whereas M Nageswar Rao (IPS:1986:OR) will shortly move from Odisha to centre to take charge as Jt Director, CBI.
Nageshwar Rao is currently serving in Odisha as ADG, Railways. Rao has been the only IPS officer till date in Odisha to occupy the top post at Bhubaneshwar Development Authority.
