New Delhi (24.04.2023): Two months ahead of the retirement of Pramod Agrawal (Retd IAS:1991:MP) the Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) is expected to hold selection interview of next Chairman of Coal India Limited (CIL).
Reportedly, altogether seven candidates are expected to appear before the selection board (PESB) for interview on May 03, 2023. Candidates who will be trying their luck on May 03 include;
Ambika Prasad Panda, CMD, Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL); Polavarapu Mallikharjuna Prasad, CMD, Central Coalfields Limited (CCL); Manoj Kumar, CMD, CMPDIL; Amitava Mukherjee, Director, (Finance) NMDC who is the interim CMD of NMDC as well; Prabhu Dayal Chirania, Senior GM, BSNL; Ashok Kumar Barnwal (IAS:1991:MP), Principal Secretary, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh of Forest Department and Alok Singh (IRS IT), Commissioner of Income Tax.
People in power corridors are inquisitive as who would be picked as the successor of the incumbent Chairman Pramod Agrawal and the next Chairman of Coal India.
