Transport secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay (IAS:1987:WB) replaces Sinha as Secretary, micro, small and medium enterprises department. Animal resources development secretary B P Gopalika (IAS:1989:WB) replaces Bandyopadhyay new transport secretary.
Bandyopadhyay has to shoulder a big responsibility of organising the conclave of micro, small and medium enterprises this year.
