New Delhi (21.02.2025): Vimala R, A 2009 batch IAS officer, will take charge on Monday as Resident Commissioner of Maharashtra in New Delhi. She worked in Maharashtra as State Project Director, Samgra Siksha Abhiyan. Previously, she was the District Collector of Nagpur and also had an stint as the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM). She replaces Rupinder Singh (IAS: 1996: MH).
