Lucknow (11.11.2022): Out of three IAS officers, Renuka Kumar (IAS: 1987: UP), Juthika Patankar (IAS: 1988: UP) and Vikas Gothalwal who sought VRS one after another, the Centre has approved VRS of Vikas Gothwal (IAS: 2003: UP) as well after Renuka Kumar. The Uttar Pradesh government has been intimated in this regard by the Centre.Gothwal was abroad on education leave from September 13, 2021. After the leave was exhausted, he applied for VRS and the state government sought permission from the Centre which was approved.
