Patna (26.04.2025): In view of likely October-November, 2025 Assembly elections, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has appointed Vinod Kumar Gunjiyal (IAS: 2007: BR) as Chief Electoral Officer, Bihar replacing H R Srinivas (IAS: 1996: BH). Gunjiyal was appointed out of a panel of three officers constituted for the same.
