The grapevine has it that the Government of India is all set to empanel Vishnu Dev Mishra (IPS:MH:1984) in the rank of ADG shortly. Mishra had missed the opportunity to find his name on the empanelment list in 2014 for reasons. Interestingly, the empanelment notification (issued last year) had made it clear last year itself that he was in serious contention for empanelment and it was a matter of time only.
