Chandigarh (11.07.2025): Rani Nagar (IAS: 2014: HY) has got relief from Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) which has stopped the recommendation made by the Haryana government to forcibly retire her on being absent from the job for past 5 years.
Nagar has been served four notices by the Chief Secretary but she did not reply even a single. When the fourth notice was not responded by Nagar, the state government recommended to forcibly retire her.
The Union Ministry of Personnel and Training sent the state government's proposal to UPSC which disagreed for forced retirement decision and sent a proposal to the Ministry to reduce the grade by two years. Now the Haryana government has sent a proposal of UPSC to Rani Nagar on her email and with the registered post at her address.
After the reply of the Ministry, the state government will now inform the Union Ministry of Personnel and Training of this fact. Rani Nagar was last put on the post of Additional Secretary and Director in the Archives Department on March 11, 2020. On this post, he served till October 27, 2020.
