Lucknow (02.06.2025): The Uttar Pradesh government has promoted three IPS officers of the 1992 batch — Ashutosh Pandey, Anand Swaroop, and Neera Rawat — to the rank of Director General (DG). Promotions took place following the superannuation of P V Ramasastry, Sanjay Tarade and Prashant Kumar. Ashutosh Pandey currently heads the economic offences wing as ADG, Anand Swaroop is posted at the Police Headquarters in Lucknow, and Neera Rawat is in-charge of UP 112, the state's integrated emergency response service.
