[caption id="attachment_24813" align="alignnone" width="298"]                      File Photo[/caption] Senior Uttar Pradesh officials are busy preparing PowerPoint presentations of the works undertaken by their respective departments. This series of presentations, which began on April 03, is an exercise meant to keep Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his ministers abreast of the exact status of works in progress and the future plans of each department in tune with the BJP's 'Sankalp Patra'. Reportedly officials are taking this painstaking exercise very seriously as it could turn out to be a measuring stick for the Yogi government to identify good officials. The new government has so far avoided major reshuffle of officials in the state. "It will naturally help CM Yogi identify good officers who have the potential to deliver results in future," a senior official observed. The chief minister has fixed three hours each day (from 6 pm to 9 pm) on different dates. There has been murmuring that the exercise has been devised to gain time and contain the push and pull factor going on between center and state to finalize key officials in Yogi Govt.
