Lucknow (26.11.2024): The Uttar Pradesh government is going to give departmental promotions to officers of 2000, 2009, 2012, 2016 and 2021 batches for which Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting is likely to take place in December 2024 under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary.
Officer served for 25 years may be promoted as Principal Secretary and they included Sorabh Babu (IAS: 2002: UP), Deepak Agrawal (IAS: 2002: UP), Amit Gupta (IAS: 2002: UP), Manish Chauhan (IAS: 2002: UP), K Dhanlaxmi (IAS: 2002: UP), Ranjan Kumar (IAS: 2002: UP), Anurag Yadav (IAS: 2002: UP) and Ranvir Prasad (IAS: 2002: UP). Around 41 officers belonging to 2009 batch may be promoted as Special Secretary from the post of Secretary while 51 officers’ of 2012 batch may get selection grade.
