A day before his retirement Sulkhan Singh (IPS:1980:UP), the outgoing DGP of UP, got extension for a period of three months. He will continue till 31 December 2017.
It may be underlined that the ACC order read Singh was retiring on 30 June 2017. In fact he was scheduled to retire on 30 Sept. Though the mistake was later corrected and the edited version of the ACC order was uploaded later.
