UP: A major reshuffle of IAS officer

Lucknow (28.02.2024): In a major reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh, 15 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have been transferred before 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The names of the officers are as follows:

Rajneesh Dubey (IAS: 1988: UP) has been appointed as the new chairman of the revenue council.
Rajesh Kumar Singh (IAS: 1989: UP) has been appointed as Principal Secretary Prisons.
Babu Lal Meena (IAS: 1991: UP) has been posted as the Principal Secretary Horticulture and Silk.
Ravindra Kumar (IAS: 2011: UP) has been appointed as Principal Secretary Livestock Dairy Development.
Vimal Dubey (IAS: 2008: UP) has been posted as Divisional Commissioner, Jhansi.
Chitra V (IAS: 2007: UP) has been appointed as Divisional Commissioner, Aligarh.
P Guru Prasad (IAS: 1999: UP) has been made Principal Secretary Revenue.
Balkar Singh (IAS: 2004: UP) has been appointed as new Housing Commissioner.
Adarsh Singh (IAS: 2007: UP) has been posted as the Excise Commissioner.
Ranveer Prasad (IAS: 2000: UP) has been appointed as MD of Electricity Generation Corporation.
Rajashekhar (IAS: 2004: UP) has been appointed as MD Drinking Water Mission Rural.
Charge of Horticulture Department has been removed from IAS officer Manoj Kumar Singh.
