THDCIL and Karnataka sign MoU for renewable energy

New Delhi (10.11.2023): Tehri Hydro Development Corporation India Ltd and the government of Karnataka have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU was signed between Gaurav Gupta (IAS: 1989: KT), Additional Chief Secretary, Energy, Government of Karnataka and R K Vishnoi, CMD THDCIL for the project worth Rs 15,000 crore in the state.
K J George, Minister of Energy, Government of Karnataka, in order to FastTrack the renewable energy production, including pumping storage in Karnataka, had continuous meeting in Delhi with Union Power Minister R K Singh, Suman Bery, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog and Rajeev Vishnoi, CMD, THDCIL.
