Term of upgraded postings to Secretary and AS level extended

1938The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Monday cleared the extension in up-gradation of an Additional Secretary level posts to Secretary level posts held by Ms. Shalini Prasad (lAS:1985:UP) for term upto 19.11.2021. Presently she is Member Secretary, Tariff Commission, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade. Further, four Joint Secretary level posts would stay upgraded to Additional Secretary level posts (for the term up to 16.09.2021) presently held by S K Khare, E K Majhi, Govind Mohan and Ms. Sujata Chaturvedi. Presently, Edwin Kulbhushan Majhi (IAS:1989:KL) is an Additional Secretary in the Department of Food and Public Distribution; Sameer Kumar Khare (lAS:1989:AM) is an Additional Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs; Govind Mohan (lAS:1989:SK) is an Additional Secretary in the Department of Home, Ministry of Home Affairs; Ms. Sujata Chaturvedi (lAS:1989:BH) is an Additional Secretary in the Department of Personnel and Training.
