6974New Delhi (27.01.2021): Rajeev Ranjan (lAS:1985:TN) was on Wednesday prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre on the request of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Presently, he is working as Secretary, Department of Fisheries in the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying. If some well-placed sources are to be believed the TN Govt may draft him as successor to the outgoing Chief Secretary K Shanmugam (IAS:1985:TN) completing his second extended-term 31.01.2021.
