Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that Mohammad Taj Hassan (IPS:1987:UT) may shortly be appointed as Deputy Director General of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Three top posts in NCB are lying vacant for over a year including DG and two DDG level posts. Indianmandarins had reported on January 21 and January 25 respectively that R R Bhatnagar (IPS:1983:UP) would we appointed as DG, NCB whereas R N Srivastava (IRS C&CE) as DDG. With Md Taj Hassan inching closer to grab another DDG level post NCB has reasons to hope that it would shortly attain full strength on top positions.
