The NaMo administration on Monday gave extension in central deputation tenure to six senior officers. Accordingly;

• Jan e Alam (IAS:1991:NL), presently Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Minority Affairs, was on Monday given extension for a period of six months beyond August 08, 2019.
• S Suresh Kumar (IAS:2000:AP) was on Monday given extension in central deputation tenure for a period of two years beginning July 23, 2019. Presently, he is Additional CEO, GeM SPV (JS level) under the Department of Commerce.
• Atul Basumatary (IOFS:1990) presently serving as Director in the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region was on Monday given extension in central deputation tenure for a period of two years beginning July 27, 2019.
• Aditya Joshi (IRAS:1995) presently serving as Director in Central Vigilance Commission was on Monday given extension in central deputation tenure for a period of one year beginning May 06, 2019.
• V R Hegde (ISS:2000) presently serving as Director in the Ministry of Civil Aviation was on Monday given extension in central deputation tenure for a period of one year beginning July 04, 2019.
• Gajendra Singh (Indian Telecom Service:1999) presently serving as Director in the Ministry of Agriculture Cooperation and Farmers Welfare was on Monday given extension in central deputation tenure for a period of one year beginning July 15, 2019.
