Shashibhushan Shukla (IRS IT:1999) last week took over as the Member (Traffic) of Inland Waterways Authority of India. Shukla had served as Secretary, IWAI, since December 2016.
IWAI has five positions at the board level of which the post of Member (Traffic) has been lying vacant for a few months. In his new stint, Shukla will fill the gap of Member (Traffic) but will simultaneously create one more vacancy.
