The public-sector headhunter, on
Thursday, selected Dr Nalin Shinghal for the post of CMD, Bharat
Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL). Three candidates were interviewed for the post. Presently,
Shinghal is CMD of Central Electronics Ltd (CEL). Subject to requisite clearances
and ACC approval he may replace Atul Sobti, the outgoing CMD due to retire June
next year. Shinghal may have tenure as BHEL CMD upto October 2023.
