Shahare to succeed N Srivastava as Indian Ambassador to Denmark

The incumbent High Commissioner of India to Maldives Rajeev Shahare (IFS:1986) has been named as the next Indian Ambassador to Denmark where he will replace Niraj Srivastava shortly. Prior to his assignment in Male' Shahare headed West Asia-North Africa Division in MEA HQ in New Delhi.
His prior diplomatic assignments also include Egypt, Yemen, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Mauritius.
