Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that selection interview for the post of CMD, Indian Telephone Industries Limted (ITI) is being held on Friday (Dec 16, 2016). Reportedly, six candidates are expected to appear before the public sector headhunter namely; Antony Chako (CMD, KSRTC); S Gopu (Director, HR, ITI), N L Manjoka (Director, HUDCO); M Kseth (Principal GM, BSNL); Rajesh Kumar (GM, BSNL) and KamlakarKaul (ED, TCIL). The CMD post fell vacant on May 04, 2015 following the retirement of K L Dhingra. Though PESB made an effort to select the successor of Dhingra on April 28 last year but all it went in vain as only two candidates appeared before PESB which further decided to see more candidates. Presently P K Gupta (Director, Marketing) holds the additional charge of CMD, ITI. It may be noted that Gupta's tenure of additional charge of CMD was extended for a month (w.e.f November 01, 2016) on Thursday and PESB is set to conduct the selection interview for CMD post on Friday.
