New Delhi (02.10.2022): Tributes were paid to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, on his 153rd birth anniversary on October 2, by the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) at SCOPE Convention Centre in New Delhi.
“Gandhiji, endowed with the ability to inspire generations, across the globe, remains one of the most revered leaders of all times,” said Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE while garlanding the statue of Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion.
While paying rich tributes to the Mahatma Sobti added, “The true tribute to the Father of the nation, would be to follow his values and teachings, not just on one day, but every day in our lives.”
Gandhi’s birth anniversary is globally observed as the International Day of Non-Violence while underlining his philosophy of non-violence to achieve social or political change.
