Sanjay Bhoosreddy led SIT to probe police's connivance with gangster Vikas Dubey

The Yogi government on Saturday evening constituted a special investigation team (SIT) headed by Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Bhoosreddy  (IAS:1989:UP) to probe all aspects related to the Bikru gangster Vikas Dubey, including the alleged role and laxity of the local police.

Additional DG Hari Ram Sharma (IPS:1993:UP) and DIG Ravindra Gaur have been made members of the SIT which will submit its report by July 31.

 The SIT has been mandated to probe into the actions taken in the cases lodged against the gangster Vikas Dubey and his associates and to give opinion into getting a probe conducted by the IT Department and the Enforcement Directorate into the properties and sources of income of all the accused, as well as the alleged involvement and connivance of the police personnel with Dubey and their associates.
