Railway Board on April 30 issued an appointment order of Sanjeeb Kumar (IRAS:1991) for the post of Director (Finance), Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) on the absorption basis for a period of five years. Presently, he is ED/F (PPP) in the Railway Board. The public-sector headhunter (PESB) had on July 23, 2019 recommended that the administrative ministry/department might choose an appropriate course of further action for selection after it could not found any of the four candidates suitable for the job. Further, a Search-cum-Selection-Committee headed by Union Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba had selected and recommended his name for the said job in RVNL.
