Rohit Kumar Singh appointed Chairman & Managing Director of JMRC

Government on Friday picked Rohit Kumar Singh (IAS:1989:RJ) for the coveted
post of Chairman & Managing Director of Jaipur Metro Rail
Corporation Ltd (JMRC). Reportedly,
he will take over the charge on Monday. Singh replaces Pawan Kumar Goyal
(IAS:1988:RJ) who was made Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Development. Â Prior
to his repatriation to cadre state, in May, Rohit Kumar Singh served as Member
(Finance), NHAI and Joint Secretary (Highways) in the Ministry of Road
Transport and Highways, Govt of India. Â It
may be mentioned that Nihal Chand Goyal (IAS:1982:RJ) too headed JMRC as CMD
till his appointment as Chief Secretary, Govt of Rajasthan in December 2017.
