Indianmandarins
has reliably learnt that Modi administration is considering to raise the
working age of doctors to seventy years. This will provide instant remedy to
the requirement of increasing demands of doctors across the country. Indianmandarins has specific information
that the Centre is taking measure to raise the retirement age of doctors from
65 yrs to 70 yrs. This will provide thousands of expert and experienced doctors
to the government hospitals. It
may be noted that MP Govt had on March 30 this years made announcement of
raising the retirement age of state govt employees from 60 yrs to 62 yrs which
further fuelled the speculations among central government omployees that the
Centre too would extend the retirement age to 62 yrs, which, as indianmandarins
had reported earlier, is unlikely at this point of time.
Similarly,
Supreme Court Judges retire at the age of 65 years, and now it is being
speculated that that their retirement age would further be raised to 67 yrs of
age which is again unlikely.
