Retired IAS, IPS, IFS to conduct departmental inquiry in Haryana

Chandigarh (20.10.2022): In a major decision to settle cases under investigation, the Haryana government has decided to take services of retired IAS, IPS and CBI officers for departmental inquiry. State Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal has issued an order to all administrative secretaries, departmental heads, MDs of boards and corporations, divisional commissioners and many other such officers in this regard.
List of retired officers will be prepared to expedite the pending matters under investigation. The list of officers will include IAS, IPS, IFS, IFoS, Engineer-in-chief and chief engineer. Doctors to the level of Director General of Health Services, Director of Health Services, officers from judicial services, CBI officers, officials from Central Secretariat services and other central services can also be made part of this list. None of the retired officers should be below Special Secretary level but this condition will not be applicable for people of judicial services.
