REC organizes Bijli Utsav as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

696Jaipur (08.08.2023): To celebrate 75 years of Independence as a
part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, REC Limited organized ‘Bijli Utsav’ in Goner
village, Jaipur, Rajasthan on August 2, 2023. The event witnessed various cultural
programmes of school students highlighting Energy conservation, consumer
rights, and challenges faced during electrification in remote areas, and how
the quality of life improved with access to power. Beneficiaries from the
villages were also invited to share their experience and views on how
electricity had transformed their lives.
