'Indianmandarins' reliably learns that Ravinder (IAS:1999:UP) is all set to be appointed as PS to the Union Minister of State Mahesh Sharma. In his ever first appointment with Govt of India Ravinder had joined as Director, DIPP under Union Ministry of Commerce & Industry on March 19, 2014. Prior to this he served as District Magistrate, Varanasi and further as Commissioner, Varanasi. It is also believed that his experience as DM of Varansai (Prime Minister's constituency) is set to pay him dividends now.
