The Public Enterprise Selection Board on Tuesday selected Pradosh Kumar Rath for the post of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL). Currently he serves as Director (Operations), RINL.
RINL's current CMD, P Madhusudan had assumed charge on January 1, 2014. He is due to retire on May 31, 2018.
Altogether six candidates had appeared for selection interview namely; Pradosh Kumar Rath (Director, Operations, RINL); Parijat Singh Gupta (ED, RINL); R Nagarajan (ED, RINL); Alok Sahay (ED, SAIL); Varanasi Venkata Venugopal Rao (Director, Finance, RINL) and Kishore Chandra Das (Director, Personnel, RINL).
