Ram Tirath to replace Ms Chander as Member, CBEC on June 01

'Indianmandarins' has reliably learnt that Ram Tirath (IRS C&CE:1979) will succeed Ms Joy Kumari Chander (IRS C&CE:1978) as Member, CBEC on June 01, 2015. Ms Chander is scheduled for superannuation for May 31 this year. Currently Ram Tirath is serving as DG, Directorate General Foreign Trade.
On April 15 'Indianmandarins' had reported that 07 IRS officers were cleared for Member, CBEC namely; Najib Shah (1979), A K Kaushal (1979), V S Krishnan (1979), Ms Neerja Shah (1979), Ms Vanaja N Sarna (1980), Ram Tirath (1980) and Ms Ananya Ray (1980).
Keeping in view the current position and occupancy only Kaushal Srivastava (Chairman, CBEC) will remain with the Board on May 31; the day when Ms Chander is scheduled for superannuation.
